Q. What is the format of the training?
Our Leadership Communication Program is completed in two ways. It can be a blended learning opportunity with a combination of self-paced e-learning and a one day live event or it can be a two day training class at your facility.
Q. Will you provide one-on-one training for individual leaders?
Yes. If you have a tight schedule or an individual that is looking for flexible development of their skills we will work directly with them to achieve their desired goals in the area of persuasive communications.
Q. Can you evaluate my leaders for persuasive communications?
Yes, we have a process for viewing an individual presenting and can assess that person against a model for persuasive communication. We will report to you on the gap analysis with the current message delivery and the desired performance. Armed with this information we can create an execution plan for the purpose of developing persuasive communication skills in you or your team.
Q. How are Corporate Storytelling and Transformational Leadership related?
Corporate Storytelling is a skill while Transformational Leadership is a leadership approach. Our customers have found that in order to be effective at Transformational Leadership, you need to have the skills of a Corporate Storyteller. As a leader your actions influence the people around you and your words influence the people around you. A successful leader is able to balance interpersonal relationahips with the persuasive power of public speech. We help you get the message right, which can be the catalyst to your larger initiative. We have evidence of companies using Corporate Storytelling as a core messaging process within their company. The Storyboard becomes the vehicle to pass messages from the leader and cascade this down through the ranks.
Q. How is this different from other Corporate Storytelling offerings?
When applied to leadership, this workshop focuses on transformational messaging. This is different than applying messaging to selling. We recognize the unique challenges facing executives and work to help you build and delivery an inspirational message that gets people to take action on your ideas. Q.What type of leaders should attend this training?
Leaders that need better outcomes from their organization should attend this workshop. We focus on executives, managers, and supervisors that have to affect change within their people to achieve challenging objectives. Corporate Storytelling will help you to inspire your followers to take action on new ideas that will help your company. If you are a leader that has a new initiative for which you expect resistance a better message can help to accelerate your idea. Why would leaders need concepts rooted in selling? Because you are selling an idea to people. This is what we equip Corporate Storytellers to do. This course is different than our sales offering. It is focused on challenges facing leaders such as competition, safety, organizational change, and other transformations you might be facing at your company.
Q.Can leaders become Corporate Storytellers using the e-Corporate Storytelling Workshop?
Yes. Our instructors understand the difference between messaging a product and messaging an idea. We have leaders that participate with sales and leaders that request our leadership only offering. During the coaching sessions, inform the Articulus coach that you are going to apply Corporate Storytelling for leadership and they will help you craft your unique transformational message.
