Blended Corporate Storytelling FAQ

 

Q. How long is the classroom part of the blended workshop?
We recommend 1-day for the classroom portion of the blended Corporate Storytelling Workshop.  This assumes all the e-Corporate Storytelling Workshop pre-work is complete.  Some organization prefer a 2-Day classroom session.  Please contact Articulus to determine the best fit for your needs.

Q. Where is the live event held?
The location of the live event is chosen by the organization purchasing the workshop.  An Articulus instructor will travel to the location of your convenience.

Q.Who pays for the travel expenses?
All Articulus travel related expenses are paid for by the organization purchasing the training.

Q. What is the difference between this workshop and other Corporate Storytelling Workshops?

Q. What material gets covered during the live event?
During the standard blended workshop classroom event the instructor will discuss how to present an Articulus Storyboard, selecting the correct “frame,”  using evidence, and how to apply Corporate Storytelling after the workshop.  Also during the classroom session, each individual will be asked to present the materials they prepared during the e-Corporate Storytelling workshop.  

Q.How does the e-Corporate Storytelling Workshop work?

Q.Do I have to take the e-Corporate Storytelling Workshop before arriving at the live event?
Yes.  The Articulus instructor during the classroom portion of the workshop will assume the e-Corporate Storytelling portion of the training is complete.  In fact, each participant will be asked to make a presentation based on the materials generated during the e-Corporate Storytelling Workshop.

Q.Can I take the Virtual Corporate Storytelling Workshop in place of the e-Corporate Storytelling Workshop in preparation for the live event?
Yes.  If you choose to run a Virtual Corporate Storytelling workshop before a 1-day live session, the Articulus Instructor will customize the virtual portion of the workshop to avoid any duplication with the live event.

Q.Will I benefit from the blended Corporate Storytelling Workshop if I have already taken the classroom version of Corporate Storytelling?
We have found that going through Corporate Storytelling more than once reinforces the learning and helps with applying the concepts.   Although it is beneficial, it is not required to be an effective Corporate Storyteller.  If you would like to review the materials, the advised approach is to use e-Corporate Storytelling.

Q.How much time does it take to complete the workshop?
The e-Corporate Storytelling section of the blended workshop will require 8-12 hours of time, done at your own pace.  The classroom portion takes 1-day.

Q.What technology (IT) do I need to complete the workshop?
The e-Corporate Storytelling portion of the workshop has IT requirements.   In general, a PC, a high speed internet connection, and a telephone.  Please see the e-Corporate Storytelling FAQ for specific IT requirements for the self-paced section of the workshop.

Q.Who should attend this workshop?
All Corporate Storytelling workshops are designed for individuals who would like to become better advocates for their ideas, products, and solutions.  The Blended Corporate Storytelling Workshop is ideally suited for groups of people that want to excel in the application of Corporate Storytelling.  This workshop has been successfully used in situations where groups of people are meeting for a variety of purposes, and would like to spend 1-2 days of the meeting in training.  These events are sales kick-off events, annual meeting, and regional meetings.    

Q.Is there a minimum or maximum group size for the live event?
There is no minimum and typical class sizes are less than 20 people.  Please contact Articulus if you would like to make arrangements for a larger group.
